Students celebrate GCSE outcomes at HAO

Congrats 2025 GCSE

Harris Academy Orpington has seen another fantastic set of results for the class of 2025, with an increase from last year in the number of students achieving a 5 or above in both Maths and English.

One student celebrating outstanding results today is Sheandrine who moved to the UK just two years ago with limited English skills and has today achieved nine GCSEs with grades 7-9, including 9s in both Maths and Art.

Another fantastic set of results were achieved by Alexandra who secured ten GCSEs including grade 9s in Combined Science, English Literature, Geography, Russian, Spanish and Health and Social Care, and grade 8s in Maths, English Language and Art - an incredible and diverse set of results!

Richard Carey, the Head of Academy, said:

This is another fantastic set of GCSE results for Harris Academy Orpington, reflecting the tremendous efforts of both our students and the staff who have supported them. This year group have been a delight to teach throughout their time at our Academy, and we are excited to see all that they go on to achieve in their futures.
