A few subs and some calm heads prevailed, and the next 5 minutes belonged to HAO. A penalty awarded that Solomon dispatched comfortably to make it 5-4 to HAO. The team held on for the final 2 minutes to take the win. A close and very tense game but still a victory for HAO. pic.twitter.com/hJ9t9snn5a

The second half started with confidence, precision and good decision making as HAO went up to 4-0 by the 50th minute. However, upped their game and something shifted as they clearly dug deep, bringing the score to a nail biting 4-4, and only minutes left. pic.twitter.com/5h35Z1XkyE

Kinetic Foundation are delighted to be able to offer an individualised, innovative football and education programme for 16-18 year olds at Harris Academy Orpington.

As a registered charity, Kinetic Foundation adopt a holistic approach to develop each young person as a ‘whole’ rather than from just a technical or tactical component. Alongside their excellent football provision they deliver a volunteering programme, mentoring scheme, mental health support pillar and employability workshops on career planning.

Since the beginning of our partnership, 75 Harris Academy Orpington Sixth Form pupils have signed contracts with professional football clubs, all of whom were on the football and education programme with Kinetic. Tosin Olopade (Burnley FC), Ralfi Hand (Charlton Athletic FC and Jabari Christmas (QPR FC) all signed in the 2021/22 academic year while Reggie Rose (Brentford FC) and Chuks Uzor-Greey (Ipswich Town FC) both signed in 2022/23, becoming Kinetic’s 66th and 69th signings to professional clubs that have been involved in their academy programme.

The Kinetic Academy programme encourages every student to stay in education and complete a university recognised course, all whilst pursuing their football dreams. This education environment, partnered with a structured football programme, provides each student with an invaluable structure to help them develop and ensures there is no compromise on educational potential.

Kinetic employ an extensive, diverse and experienced staff body which consists of UEFA qualified coaches, strength and conditioning experts, sports therapists, youth workers, mentors, life coaches and counsellors.

Kinetic Academy scholars will train for five hours per week and play weekly matches in leagues and cups such as the SCL Youth Development League, AOC Sport/ECFA League, Tactic League as well as the opportunity to play in the prestigious FA Youth Cup and showcase games Kinetic play against professional club academies. There is also school competitions, both regional and national, that Kinetic represent Harris Orpington in.

Kinetic is extremely proud of their track record of supporting young people to secure football contracts at professional clubs – 72 young people in ten seasons have achieved this. They’ve also supported their graduates into football coaching and the opportunity to go study/play football in the USA.
