KS3 Performing Arts Workshop: A Resounding Success
Our KS3 students enjoyed an inspiring and highly successful Performing Arts workshop, creating an exciting opportunity to explore and develop their creative talents.
Throughout the session, students engaged enthusiastically with every activity, demonstrating excellent behaviour, strong participation, and impressive creativity. Staff were delighted to see such high levels of enjoyment and commitment, with students embracing the chance to build their confidence and performance skills in singing, dancing, and acting.
The impact of the workshop was clear, with many students expressing a strong interest in continuing their learning. Several have already requested a follow-up workshop next term - an excellent reflection of how much they valued the experience.
We are also thrilled to share that Centre Stage Theatre Academy has awarded 10 scholarships to our students. As part of their commitment to supporting young performers, these scholarships will enable selected students to attend sessions free of charge over the summer, giving them a fantastic opportunity to further develop their performing arts skills. Letters have been sent home to parents and carers of the successful recipients.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Centre Stage Theatre Academy for their ongoing support and partnership.
Overall, the workshop was a wonderful experience for our KS3 students and a strong example of the positive impact of collaboration in enriching our students’ learning beyond the classroom.
