Well done to our Year 8 and Year 9 football teams, who both won their tense and entertaining matches, by 1 goal. Both our goalkeepers saving last minute penalties to hold out for the win! Great effort by all!

Every November, our country comes together to observe Remembrance Day. It’s a time to honour the courage & sacrifice of those who served in the armed forces & gave their lives for our freedom. Today, HAO will join the nation in a one-minute silence to reflect & pay our respects.

HAO Careers Fair - January 2025

HAO hosted it's annual careers fair on Friday 31st January 2025.

Years 9 to 13 had the opportunity to talk to and engage with the multiple visitors on site for the morning, arriving from various career pathways for both post 16 and post 18. Students had the chance to speak to professionals in their respective fields, exploring the different professional development opportunities out here, but also find out how they can ultimately achieve their career goals, in what is the ever-changing working world.

From apprenticeships, colleges and Universities (plus our own Sixth Form), to the London Fire Brigade, Management Consultancy, Construction and Nursing, students spent their 40-minutes sessions making their way around the fair and delving deep into the question of, what do I want to do once I leave school?

A big thank you to all our welcoming visitors who imparted ther expertise and advise to our inquisitive students and Ms Francis and Mr Brockwell for organising the event.
