Multi Sports Coaching: Throughout the two-year course, students will attend primary schools in groups every Tuesday afternoon from October half term onwards, providing support/ coaching in curricular and extra-curricular PE.

NVQ Level 1 Award: In Sport and Active Leisure This Level 1 NVQ Award in Sport and Active Leisure has been designed for those working in the Sport, Recreation and Active Leisure sector and is suitable for young people or those who are new to the sector and who wish to achieve an award that reflects their competence in basic, introductory functions and responsibilities.

NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Activity Leadership: For a career in sports coaching this practical course will introduce basic coaching principles delivered using a number of sports, including football or basketball to prepare you for work in schools and beyond. You will have the opportunity to work in a local primary school and grassroots clubs.

FA Level 1 Football Coaching: This course will provide an introduction to the organisation and delivery of safe and enjoyable football coaching sessions. This is a fantastic course that brings genuine and ongoing benefits to UK football, particularly at the grass roots level. The Level 1 course is the entry point into the FA Coaching Ladder for virtually every coach and is designed to provide a broad introduction to coaching and a solid foundation upon which to build and progress to the higher level courses.

FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football: The Level 2 qualification is also viewed commonly as the minimum requirement for budding coaches with aspirations to make coaching their profession. Those coaches wishing to progress to UEFA B and beyond must have attained the Level 2 qualification. This nationally recognized qualification will provide candidates who have an ongoing involvement in football, with the opportunity to gain knowledge of how to effectively plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions. Only students selected for this course will complete their Level 2, students do not automatically move onto this course from the Level 1.
