Year 10 Netball Tournament
A great group of Year 10 students on an all-day Harris Netball tournament. The students involved made it an enjoyable day for all involved. They were not only a credit to the Academy they were also extremely successful. The year 10 team finished 4th out of 10 Harris Academies- this is great considering this was our first ever Harris tournament. They narrowly missed out on the 3rd position, losing in the Semi-final to Harris Purley.
In our qualifying round our games included a narrow defeat to Harris Rainham and a win against Harris Merton and Harris Bromley. This allowed us to qualify for the 3rd and 4th playoff. Unfortunately we lost by 1 goal in the semi-final allowing us to achieve 4th place. The girls were extremely proud of themselves and they made me proud to be their teacher. The tournament was one of great atmosphere, teamwork and respect for all teams involved.
