Art Club- Various art themed groups, this half term you will be producing art based on a winter theme.

Basketball - Basketball is a brilliant sport that can develop coordination, fitness and teamwork. These skills are transferable to other sports, and will benefit players who want to develop their decision-making. This is a new club that is open to both beginners and more experienced players, with a focus on participation and enjoyment. We are looking into arranging fixtures with other schools.

Boxing- Come and train, learn the discipline and how to get fit while having fun.

EXTEND Dance Club- Students will have the opportunity to train and develop in a range of techniques in dance. We will form as a dance company meaning students technique, choreography and performance will improve over time. Having the opportunity to dance in assemblies, flash mobs, and hopefully local competitions ‘EXTEND’ Dance Company will become its own. Whether first time or trained dancers, there is something for everyone.

Fitness Gym- Come and work out using the Academy Gym equipment.

Football- Football is a brilliant sport that can develop coordination, fitness and teamwork. The club is open to both beginners and more experienced players, as although we train for fixtures it is also focused on promoting participation and enjoyment. We have fixtures and tournaments arranged for all year groups. We also strongly encourage the continuation of this into a football club outside of school.

Homework Club- Come along to work in a calm, peaceful environment with the resources and support you need to complete your homework.

Music Theatre- Students will learn audition technique before auditioning for a role in the school production. They will learn how to rehearse for and produce a full musical production including learning of lines, character delivery, choreography, choral and solo singing, and the design and construction of set, costume, props and lighting. Whether performers or producers, there is something for everyone. The club culminates in a 3-performance run of the show in the summer term.

Netball- Netball is a team sport. We have a Netball team in each year group who play against other schools in the borough. The games against other Bromley schools are on various evenings (not just Tuesday or Thursday) however club and practices is always Tuesday’s for years 7-9 and Thursdays for Year 10-11. In Netball Club, we work on teamwork, co-ordination and fitness. Netball club also focusses on improvement of skills and tactical awareness. We also strongly encourage and promote the continuation of this into a netball club outside of school (who use our school facilities in the later evening).

Rugby Training- Come along and learn some key skills while having fun and getting fit.

STEM Club- You will be able to use a variety of skills from across Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths to complete projects. The projects you complete will be accredited through the British Science Association CREST Awards scheme.

Ukulele – For beginner ukulele players. Learn how to play a few chords on this lovely instrument. Work in a big group, and smaller groups to sing songs and accompany them on ukulele.

No previous experience necessary.

Young Voices - Students get the opportunity of singing a variety of songs in a group. Last year performed at the 02 in February as part of a massed choir. This opportunity will be offered to all students who attend Young Voices regularly in February 2018. It is a club, which can really build confidence, vocal technique and participation.
